No body can predict or knows, when his or her account may face problems or may become a victim of h4ckers, so it would be a good ides to be prepare before hand by keeping a back up of your Gmail account including attachments, mails and contacts in other place too. Though, currently it is very hard to get access to any Gmail account since Google started two-step verification system to login in to your Google account and its services, but still precautions are better than cure.

There are a number of ways to back up your email account, but today i have covered only two ways in this article, so you can select any method from the below two methods, which you find simple and handy to you.
1. Forward a Copy of mails to Other Account
The simplest method for the backing up your account is to forward your mails from current to any other account. To forward a copy of original e-mails from Gmail to other email account, you need to activate forwarding option by logging in to your current Gmail account and then go to settings and click on “Forwarding and POP/IMAP” tab, there you can enter your desired mail where you want to forward your original mails.
2. Back Up through Third-Party Services
To create a back up of your Gmail account, you can also use various free or paid third party web services, which can perform the task of backing up your data very well.
Backupify, is one of the very well famous third party service, which automatically performs scheduled back ups for your Google account. Moreover, this application also provides an option to back up your data of many other sites including Twitter, Facebook, Flickr, Picasa, Blogger and many more.
